How to check if your website is mobile friendly

How To Check If Your Website Is Mobile-Friendly

In the modern “mobile-first world” it is essential to optimize a website for mobile viewing.

Checking websites for mobile friendliness should be of top priority for any business as a significant portion of internet traffic comes from mobile devices.

In fact, according to Datareportal, 92.3% of internet users access websites using a mobile phone, with over 60% of website traffic coming from mobile devices.
Having non-mobile-friendly websites can lead to poor user experience for the vast majority of the visitors that are the ones who access the website from mobile phones or tablets.

It would be difficult to navigate through the website, the content might not be clearly visible, the text might be too small to read, etc. All these factors will result in low engagement and high bounce rates.

Moreover, a website’s mobile friendliness is an important factor for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Google and other search engines give preference to mobile friendly websites ranking them higher than those that are not. Additionally, sites that do not provide a good experience on mobile devices could be subject to penalties from Google.

The good news is that Hexomatic has a native mobile-friendly checker automation that can test web pages in bulk for any usability or responsive design issues.

With this automation, you can:

👉 Test your own website for any usability issues and responsive design issues to be sure that your website is mobile-friendly providing a positive user experience to the visitors.
