After studying terabytes of usage data, our development team has implemented some big improvements to our web scraping engine, including a smarter auto-retry that works behind the scenes. The result is a 40% improvement in success rate from our backtesting.
This will improve the success rate of your own scraping recipes as well as our own automations which make use of our scraping engine, in cases where:
-A page was temporarily unavailable (for example because the target host was down or due to network congestion).
-Countermeasures were used to prevent the page from loading
Should any of these occur, Hexomatic will try again using a different approach.
