How to create social media posts with ChatGPT and Hexomatic

First, we created a spreadsheet featuring all the key dates we want to cover. We used Hexomatic to scrape these. Here is our ready version you can download:

Step 1: Create a workflow
Go to your dashboard and create a new workflow by choosing the “blank” option.
Step 2: Upload the CSV file
Choose the Data Input automation as your starting point and select the “Manual paste” option. Then, upload the CSV file with dates.
For this tutorial, we have uploaded the list of our marketing calendar’s key dates, including public holidays and notable events that might interest our audience. This list is also scraped by using Hexomatic.
Step 3: Add the ChatGPT automation
Once you have scraped the event dates with the help of Hexomatic, you will need to insert the prompt to ask ChatGPT to create the entire social media content calendar for the whole year on autopilot right inside your Hexomatic workflow.
After adding the ChatGPT automation, set the event data as the source of the automation, then add the prompt. You can either choose from the ready-made prompts or create your custom one.
In this case, we have created our custom prompt by choosing the option Custom prompt and asking ChatGPT to create funny social media posts for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Here is the prompt we used:
Pretend you are a marketing assistant working at XXX a company that COMPANY DESCRIPTION. Create funny or insightful social media posts for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as well as an image generation prompt (separating these using headers) to celebrate or mark this notable event on the marketing calendar:
This will allow you to create social media posts for all the scraped dates at once!
After filling in all the required information and adding the custom prompt, click on Continue to let the magic happen!
Step 4: Run the workflow
To run the workflow, click on Run now. You can also schedule by choosing the option Schedule start time/date.
Step 5: Preview and save the results
After just a few seconds, you can export the results to a Google spreadsheet file and enjoy the results!
