We will show you step by step how to extract all the articles from your website using its XML sitemap and then create social media posts for all the articles SIMULTANEOUSLY using ChatGPT and Hexomatic.
Before getting started, make sure you have a Hexomatic.com account.
Once you have your account, follow the steps below to get your social media posts in a single spreadsheet on autopilot.
Step 1: Create a new workflow
From your Hexomatic dashboard, create a new workflow by clicking on Create new button.
Step 2: Add the Sitemap Extractor automation
Find and select the Sitemap extractor automation of Hexomatic.
Step 3: Add the sitemap URL of your website
Once the workflow has loaded, you need to add the XML sitemap of your website in the URL field.
The XML sitemap is a file that contains the links to all the pages of your website.
To get the XML sitemap of a website, you can simply add sitemap.xml at the end of the domain of your website or webpage.
Once you have got the sitemap, insert it in the URL field of the workflow.
You can then choose whether to extract all the URLs or a limited number of URLs.
After filling in all the required fields, go ahead by clicking + to add the next automation to your workflow.
Step 4: Add the Article Scraper automation
After extracting all the URLs of the sitemap of your website, you need to extract the articles from them. This can be done with our Article scraper automation.
Just add the automation to your workflow and select the sitemap URL as its source.
Step 5: Add the ChatGPT automation
So, once you have extracted the articles, you will need to insert the prompt to ask ChatGPT to create social media posts for your entire website on autopilot right inside your Hexomatic workflow. This is where the magic happens. You can choose from the ready-made prompts or create your custom one.
After adding the automation, first, set the article curator text as the source of the automation and then add the prompt.
Let’s now create a custom prompt, asking ChatGPT to create a summary and 3 social media posts for each of our articles.
This way, ChatGPT will create social media posts for ALL the scraped articles at once.
After filling in all the required information and adding the custom prompt, click Continue.
Step 6: Run the workflow
Ready? Then, click Run Now to get all your social media posts ready in a few minutes!
Step 7: View and save the results
Once the results are ready, you can export them to a convenient spreadsheet file.
